I thinks it was unfortunate that it happened. Zidane should have kept his cool no matter what the other player said. But he will still be remembered as a great player.
However, it's old news. Let it go.

The thing is this, in 10 years time who the hell is Matterazi?
Ask the same question about Zidane and 100% of football fans will remember him for being an outstanding player.

i think he deserved it

Dude really I would've done the same! Materazzi deserved to be head-butted becuz of what he said. It isn't right to insult someone's family or moral that way!

I think it was possibly, one of the stupidest things done by a veteran football player ever in the history of the World Cup. Not only did he do it in the final, he did it with in the last five minutes before the game went into pk's. Talk about taking your team out of the game. He demolished his team's concentration by getting thrown out of that game and in my opinion, lost it for them.
