Went of up 1/5 or 20%. 1/5 of 25 is 5 and 5 plus 5 equals 30. =)

a percent increase is the percent of in this case 25, and taking a percent of that number and adding it to get 30.

how many questions were there? once you know the number of questions, then you can put the increase (5) in ratio with the total number of questions and then calculate the percentage.
