Hawaii has no native terrestrial reptiles or amphibians. There are turtles and seasnakes in the surrounding waters. Most oceanic islands have native skinks or geckoes (both types of lizards) but Hawaii lacks even these. It does however have numerous introduced reptiles and amphibians, including chameleons, softshell turtles, poison-arrow frogs, etc etc. The blind snake (often called the flowerpot snake) is found on many Pacific islands but is not native -- it lives as a burrower and is commonly transferred to islands amongst the roots of cultivated plants.

The Island Blind Snake and Yellow-Bellied Sea Snake can be found in Hawaii (or around Hawaii in the case of the sea snake).

Not at the moment. I saw a TV special where it said that they had inspection crews to make sure that there were no snakes hiding in the wheel wells of aircraft. They were trying to prevent snakes from invading the island and killing off the native species.
All of the birds on Guam died off after snakes got there from stowing away on cargo aircraft.

I can easily believe it. Hawaii is a group of volcanic islands, so how would the snakes have got there? I would imagine they don't have any amphibians either.
