True, it is confusing.
I watch every episode at least twice and I still have no clue what is happening.
But don't fret. The writers and producers know what they are doing.
You have to remember that even television is an art form, and that the writers have a specific journey in mind for you to go on.
Watch, and enjoy.
All questions will be answered in time.
Heck, if they answered everything, there wouldn't be a show.
So sit back and let the writers tell their story.

Hell yes!
I was beginning to get a bit worried as soon as Desmond had to start asking..."But can time-travel really happen...?" I mean, I could accept a hatch in the ground, and an island that magnetically doesn't exist on outside maps, and a plane that goes straight through from Nigeria to the Pacific, but time-travel, really?

i LOVE mysteries, but this is ridiculous. Loose ends are never tired up and there is no consistent thread. Did the kid and dad ever get back to civilization"? even that wasn't cleared up

Don't worry, honey. You're not the only one.
At this point, I don't think the writers know which direction they're going in.
