If you're talking about having sex to get pregnant, count fourteen days back from the first day your period and that is when or somewhere about that time. Now if you're talking about life-wise, it may be better to be married, know where your life is headed and have someone to help you with those days you don't feel good - your husband. It's not wise to get pregnant when the father of the unborn child is good for nothing!

Best time--when you've been married for a while and you're financially and emotionally stable. Worst time--when you're not financially ready and unmarried and don't have much of a support system. Age wise, I'd say that it's the mid twenties to early to mid-thirties for ideal age.
