Girls and Make-up?

Question

why do most girls like to powder there face with make-up......For me it is a turn off. I say that most girls look better without the make-up. With a special event its cool, but at school it is gross

Can some one explain to me why make-up is so important to wear.

i don't wear make-up unless it's a special ocassion but still sometimes i don't
and i think most girls don't want to show their face or they think it's better with make-up and they think guys notice them nor with it on
most stars peole see on tv (GUYS AND GIRLS) have some kind of make-up on even thouigh it might not seem like it

I wouldn't say it is important...Also, it is refreshing to hear a guy say he likes girls better without it. I only wear makeup on days that I feel like putting it on. The big problem with it (for me) is how much. I wear eyeliner, mascara, sometimes eye shadow, and lip gloss. That is all. A very little bit is all you need. When there is too much, it makes you look like a Barbie doll. But you're real question is why it is so important, and the main reason fo me being, is that it covers up imperfections, and because we don't want people to see those imperections too much. It is kind of a self-esteem booster, like, it makes you feel prettier. I guess we don't really need it, we more of want it.

I think a lot of make-up on young girls is a big No No. I think a little bit of powder, blush, mascara and lip gloss should do. A lot of foundations today have sunscreen and that is very good. Some girls want to look older so they wear more make-up but soon they will learn and hopefully their mothers will tell them.

It's addictive^^ It makes us feel like we're prettier and special. And we're also hoping to look better for certain people. Powder can help out a lot, actually. Which would you want to see more: powder or acne? I don't wear powder, but I use other make-up to hide little details and enhance certain features.

"powdering" is called using cover up probably to make it look like they don't have pizza face. I think if they can afford as much cover up as they use, they could afford a bottle or two of provactive, yeesh.

I prefer au naturalle too :) all you really need is mascara, lipgloss, and a hot hairstyle. ;*

from my personal experience, girls think that guys like it when they were makeup. so, they pile it on in hopes of guys noticing. but, i think that caking on powder and blush is gross.

some girls are too insecure to show their natural, beautiful skin. i hope this helps a little. =)

this is difference in between man and women, males look for general but females care about the little details.
just ask your sister if you do have one why did she think make up is important.

almost every girl wears make-up. the thing is, guys tend to like the ones who do it right--the girls who look like they don't wear any. makeup's to accentuate what you've got, not to change your face.

i'm 12 and wear make i just wear mascara lipgloss and blush thats it i'm noot a big make-up fan i used to wear eyeliner but i freaken poke my eye out lol i hate it now!
