Does iTrip actually play FM radio on your iPod?

If it does, is it any good?

iTrip does not play FM radio on your iPod but rather plugs into your iPod and transmits the audio to your car radio antenna allowing you to listen to the music on your iPod over your car stereo. Apple makes a device called "iPod Radio Remote" which allows you to listen to FM radio on your iPod.

I think its the other way arround, it plays you ipod over FM radio. And from what i head it does that pretty well.
