in the 80s or 90s i had a robot computer toy. he was white and its face lit up. does anyone know what in talking about? if so waht wa sits name

I think maybe you're talking about Alphie(?). I remember what you're talking about and I hope I'm right about the name. lol

I think the first person is right, the Alphie, it was an educational toy to help kids read and count. The actual curriculum depended on cards inserted into its side or its belly and then it would talk and light up for right answers. Them cards were hard to keep track of...and it was a lot like the Teddy Ruxpin doll.
