They would have the world "Do as I say, not as I do". They grow upset when they see people that they can not wield full control over.
They say Bush bashing emboldens the enemy while they hounded the former president on a per-minute basis.
They believe that supporting a blatant, destructive, lie is good for the US. Yet they claim to be the moral compass of the world.

If Clinton gets "bashed"( I hate that word) it's because he can't keep his mouth shut about anything. For decades there was a long standing tradition that former presidents not make derogatory comments about sitting presidents. Clinton failed to observe that tradition so he gets what's coming to him. Besides, when Liberals "bash" the president, it gets down right hateful. I don't ever remember any conservative wanting to assassinate Clinton! Randi Rhodes had this to say about the President, "Like Fredo, somebody ought to take him out fishing and phuw. "
Rhodes then imitated the sound of a gunshot. Just in case you don't know, Fredo Corleone was shot by his brother Michael at the end of "The Godfather". Or how about all the kill Bush products that were finally pulled from CafePress.com?
Sorry, but I must say that when it comes to "bashing", Liberals are the real pros.

Cause the bashing totally personal and just childish. I have no problem people questioning his policies, but the personal attacks are just childish and it makes the people doing the bashing look like idiots. Most conservatives bash Clinton's policies not Clinton personally. I can't speak for everyone, but that is how i feel.

Have you noticed that Clinton and other liberals are a scape goat for all of their (the right wing repuglicans) failures. They bashed Bill Clinton for 8 years. When he left office the country was headed in the right direction, the deficit was being paid down and he had a balanced budget, people were working. The economy strong, and yet they impeached him. Sad, that a person that is so obviously competent is bashed for no really good reason, and always the same arguments, nothing new or substantial.

It's just the way politics is, and we should not take any of it so seriously.
In our system, one presidential administration runs into another. And the problems today took more than 6 years to create. And if you want to blame the current administration, or even the prior one, for the problems of the universe, fine.
But personally, I blame public education.
EDIT: Answerman, are we supposed to believe that every time you type republican, you insert a typographical g?

Instead of complaining, they could say something positive about what he (Bush) has done right. No wait, they don't have anything positive to say. Never mind...

Clinton CHOOSES to keep himself in the public eye and is therefore not able to be FORGOTTEN. Believe me, I'd like to forget about the immoral man that dishonored his office.
Now that Hillary is running for President, Bill will be even MORE visible - God help us.
