Okay. I read Bridge to Terabithia last week and I loved it. But, I noticed that Katherine Paterson has other novels. Are they as good as Bridge to Terabithia? I want to know because I thought Bridge to Terabithia was great. If you've read some of them, please tell me.

I liked a bunch of Katherine Paterson books besides Bridge. Actually my favorite one that was kind of "hot" when I was in grade school was "Jacob have I loved" which is her other newberry award winner. It's about twin sisters who have a difficult relationship. (It was more popular with the girls in my class than the boys, but it's still a great book.) The other one I remember liking is "The Great Gilly Hopkins."

From her more recent books, I haven't read either of them but "Lyddie" and "Preacher's Boy" are supposed to be very good.

This link from her official website has a breakdown of which of her books have won awards, so it might be a good place to start. (she's written a lot of books!)

She has written a lot of historical fiction novels. These are great if you love historical fiction like I do. Her newest book is Bread and Roses Too. It was one of my favorites that I read last year. Preacher's Boy is also good. I've read more but those are the ones that are freshest on my mind.
