I need an affordable rate at the Bellagio in Vegas from 3/1-3/4. Any tips? Please let me know if you have better pricing. I am coming from ATL to LAS and I already have the plane ticket. But, if you have an awesome resource to get the plane and hotel package, I will entertain. Thanks fellow Yahoo-ers!

I suggest that you stay somewhere else. You are not going to get a special deal there unless you are part of a convention or a big gambler. Try Bally's which is across the street or the Barbary Coast. It is not far from the Polo Towers, a timeshare building with low rates. The Jockey Club timeshare is right next to Bellagio's, but they are doing construction there and I think it would be pretty noisy right now. You could contact them and ask, but they are the closest to Bellagio
The other responders are correct. You are trying to get a deal on a weekend and they are booked on weekends. You also should not lie about how much you would gamble to get a casino rate because if you don't gamble that much, you will be charged full rate. Why do you want to only stay at the Bellagio, anyway?

Bellagio = affordable? NO. The average room rate is $399 a night - MAYBE dropping to $259 if you get lucky. I'd recommend Treasure Island instead - that's usually $229 or so a night.

www.vegas.com is the BEST way I've found to get cheap deals on rooms & airfare - it's thru US Airways.

I am afraid that you are out of luck. Your only option is to try to call the Casino Host, and maybe they will be able to get you a casino rate, which is much cheaper, than the posted rates, just call and tell them you want to inquire about their qualifications for their casino rates, and you may actually get a good rate if you feel you will meet those. But being the Bellagio dont expect good rates if you intend to only only gamble a few bucks at the nickel machines, and dont tell them you intend to gamble thousands, and dont, just to get good rates. Be honest. Southwest Airlines also has excellent vacation packages to Vegas including good room rates, but being from Atlanta I dont think they fly out of there.

the bellagio will cost you your left arm, leg, and possibly, your left testicle as well. it's outrageous! honestly, i've been to vegas four times now...it's my FAVORITE place to migrate and if there's one thing i've learned, it's this: you can enjoy the very best of vegas town without staying in a ridiculously priced hotel! stay just off the strip. you can walk everywhere and all-day bus passes up and down the strip are cheap. you can party in and enjoy all the perks of the luxurious hotels without forking over an account full of greenbacks. have fun!
