Buy a huge body pillow. It helps. Is there any way that you or your wife could change jobs to be on the same schedule? If not hang in there. No situations last forever. My husband snores terribly so I'm kind of glad when he has to get up around 3 in the morning and go. But I do miss him when he's gone.

Get a Night shift job as well or help her to find a day job. You are right not to like that. It's important for the relationship to spend quality time with each other. Do what ever it takes to bridge the gap in a loving manner.

isn't that more of fact than a question? or are you asking what you can do to not sleep alone? if so get a pet dog or cat. You could also always stay awake until she gets home or read a book, watch tv do something tha'll put you to sleep but keep you distracted well your awake!

I have the same problem when my husband works at night. I work overnights 2 nights a week and sometimes he does. we both have a hard time sleeping. It is because you are used to her being next to you. Try spritzing her perfume on a pillow and laying it next to you. That helps sometimes.

Stop being a crybaby. You've slept alone before you met her - you can keep doing it. Ask your doctor for some sleeping pills if it's that much of a problem.

Get a body pillow. It's a pillow that is about 4 foot long. You can snuggle up to it when the wife's away.

Do you have kids...when my hubby was in the hospital i let my 4 year old son sleep with me. Takes away the lonliness feeling, plus I knew he was safe all night long.

We all have things we don't like in life... She probably don't like having to work nights either. If it's really that important to you get a job making enough she don't have to work... then ask her to stay home with you.

If a teddy bear was good enough for a grown man like Thurston Howell the Third, one is good enough for you.
