I want to build a new computer but I can't decide what would be a good cpu and mobo with a 8800 gts and a gig of ram. I can't find a single computer with a 320 mb 8800 gts in it to use as a template. I want a budget gaming computer basically. Looking for a mobo and cpu that won't make the video data bottleneck.

Depends what CPU brand/socket you want. I cant give you the help you need since you didnt give a budget, what you need, and what games you play.
I don't think you need a 8800GTS to be honest.. a 7950 would be fine.

Lets say you go with AMD's AM2 setup..
-AMD Athlon X2 5200+ ($220)
-Biostar AM2 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra ($64)
-Evga 8800GTS ($279 w/ rebate)
-HIPER 580watt PSU ($90 w/ rebate)
-Corsair XMS 1gig (512x2) ($110)

TOTAL: $763 with rebates.
***If you get the 7950 from Evga that is $264(249 w/ rebate) and if you drop down to some $74 Corsair DDR2 memory.. the Total will be $697 with rebates.
You'll still need a cd drive and a case. ~$20 for a drive and anywhere from $40-$100 on a case.

I would go with nothing less than a dual core. I have seen mobo/cpu combinations on sale at Fry's for $179.
