Nobody needs a designer dress. They aren't cheap - no matter where you look. I got my beautiful princess prom dress at the local thrift store, and nobody could tell. I looked just as good as the other girls there, and I felt beautiful, even though it wasn't designer or $100+. I got it for $15 and had it adjusted in the chest-area (I have an A chest) and it was great!

you can get many fabulose dresses that arnt expensive at ross!!! they are always sooo cute.
