I know this sounds like a stupid question. I have a Graco pack and play, i have never used it. Not sure if i will, my daughter is 6 months old. I am thinking of returning it for something else. Just wondering if anyone found the pack and plays useful.

Yeah, I used mine quite a bit. When my son was too big for his bassinet we used it until he started sleeping 5 hours a night and then we moved him into his room. He would also take his naps in there when he was younger. I use it when I travel to grandparents houses. And I used it as my changing table in the living room. And he'll play in it for about 10 minutes, and then he screams to get out!

My 5 1/2 month olds godmother has one and every time she is with her it's never out! It's like my house! A big blanket, the floor, and lots of toys is my pack and play! Return it and if you don't have an exersaucer it would be a great exchange!

We used our pack n play for 2 reasons:

1) Once your baby can sit try using it for playtime with some toys...The sooner you do it the more likely they will be to be content.
2) We have used ours numerous times for travel. Our kids sleep in them when we go on vacation (at the hotel) and when we are at our in-laws (that are out of state). My son is 3 and still sleeps in it when we are travelling.

We keep it folded and in storage when not in use so it does not take up room.

Hope that helps!

I know, I never used mine to put the baby in it to play- but i did find it very usefull if I was visiting someone or going on vacation, that was the portable crib!! To tell you the truth I still put my 2 year old daughter in it when she has a sleepover at Grandma's!

I used mine all the time. When my son was too big for the bassinet and we didn't have the crib set up yet he slept in his. It was also great for using in our trailer when we went camping and for going up to my parents or when he was being watched by my mother in law. He is 2 1/2 now and we just stopped using it a few months ago. I also used it in hotels. I don't trust hotel cribs...too many babies have been hurt or killed by faulty ones.

I don't use mine very much at ALL. Mostly my baby has free run of 3 rooms that are all connected. Other than that, we use baby gates. I have stuck her in the playpen a few times......to wash the floor, take a shower, things like that. But mostly my husband keeps her busy while I do these things. I would guess mine has used hers 10 times or less........

Yes I used it alot. I would use it out in the living room for my daughter to take naps in while I was in the living room also. And took it when I'd travel to the hotel rooms. We also used it when my nephews spent the night.

Never.

We got ours before baby#1 was born.
We now have three children (all under 5 yrs old) and the thing has never been used.

I use mine every day. We live in a two-story house, and my son's nursery is on the second floor. Our pack and play stays in the living room. He usually only sleeps in his crib when it's bedtime. During the daytime, he takes his naps in his pack and play so he can stay close to my husband and I.

My mother-in-law has one at her house, and he sleeps in one at his sitter's house.

I used mine so much that we bought a second! We have one downstairs for daytime naps/changes and one upstairs in our bedroom since he doesn't sleep in his room yet. He hated the bassinet that we bought for him, so we stuck with what worked. But, if it doesn't work for you I'd definitely return it. Lord knows there's enough out there that youll be able to trade it in for!
