Sadly,
I doubt it...I really doubt it...I mean my gold earrings prolly would mean just as much to me..Because my grandmother gave them to me...But no oneelse would prolly even notice them.

I don't like it now, actually. When I was a little girl, I had my ears pierced and loved wearing gold earrings; but now I really don't like jewelry at all, and prefer silver if I have to wear it. I'd even prefer a silver wedding ring.

I really don't know how or why it happened, but I developed a sort of aversion to gold; the color seems too...harsh, somehow.

No because there are some of us who don't like gold no matter what it costs and those who like it because of it's price tag would find something else that suddenly they liked better .

Probably not! I find it weird that people want something they can't have, kind of like money. The rich people don't want it, the poor need it!
