What is the best reply, when someone asks if you're crazy?

Well,.. I'm not,... well,.. maybe just a little eclectic.

But what is your excuse?

In high school I had a 4.0, and someone accused me of cheating. I told them, "Of course I am! How else do you think I get straight A's." That was contrary to the truth, and so I could care less if he accused me of cheating because I knew it wasn't true, and any of my teachers would know it wasn't true. So as long as you know you're not crazy, then who cares what they think--let them think you're crazy.

Although this can be a little tough at times, and may test you, ultimately people will stop asking.

Of course, you could always quote Billy Joel: "You may be right, I may be crazy, but it just may be a lunatic you're looking for."

If someone asks if your crazy, which is bound to happen in everyone's life someday or another, the best thing is to: start twitching your eye, refer to yourself in the third person, and tell the person asking you that yourself in the third person does not like them. Why do this you ask? If someone asks if your crazy, don't try and answer it with a real answer. WE are all "crazy" in this world, some way or another. Enjoy it... smile, and think, "hey, Oprah has probably tried to bite her own ear". :)

Usually my confidence overrules anyone moronic enough to think that they can call me anything other than my name. Common responses include sarcasm, such as "Yeah, I am a little crazy" And you have to say it with that psychopath voice and stare. Emphasis on the word "am."

Another response could be just you staring back at them in complete silence. That works perfectly in the right situation.

And then of course you could just ask the question back, which works for annything. Such as, "are you crazy?" "are YOU crazy?" back..

I don't reply verbally, I just run off like a cat, stop after 50 or so meters, glance back quickly, hss and keep on running.

It is oddly effective against people you never want to bother you again.

Just start pulling on your hair after they asked you , breath really heavy and look confused. Just start yelling "Why does everyone keep asking me that!" End with grunting and facial twitching.
