Do i need special tools or can i do it with stander tools?

There are special tools involved in getting the prop shaft carrier off of the lower unit. Even if you manage to get the retaining ring off you would still need the special tool to torque it to spec.

you might fumble around and get the seal out with a couple of screw drivers. if so, you can change the seal. this is not a recommended procedure as there are 2 seals that work together.

Take it to a capable repair facility. You don't want to try this on your own - in the long run it will be cheaper to pay someone to do it.
