You should certainly go for interviews, just to keep in practice and in touch with what you're worth "on the market" Even if happy in your job, go for an interview once or twice a year - you can always turn the job down if you decide you're better off where you are. But maybe you'll get a better offer - you've nothing to lose !

shouldnt have to work harder if you know what you are doing. should work smarter. There are sales representatives that make alot off of selling things. You just have to find the right sales job. The problem with these sales jobs, is that you have to make a sale to make money. Most of the time, their base pays arent that great. So, you should go for the ones with the highest commission rates. But, higher commission rates are usually products that are more difficult to sell. So, select one that has a product just right for your sales skills. And you are the only person that knows your sales skills better then anyone else. So, its up to you to select another job that you think will pay better for you.

Like everything else in this life you have to be happy in what your doing, if your not happy with your job it will reflect on your life outside your job, then you'll be unhappy at work and at home, and this unhappyness will spred through your family life, large wages do not always bring happyness, but one should always keep an eye out for that better move, there is always a better job somewhere,

It never hurts to try out another job. If you like it, it's good. If not, you can go back to what you used do a bit wiser about the alternatives.

Well if you don't think you can carry on and make a living with that, then find a new job.
Take a chance.

If you are not sure what to do...then you are not ready to change jobs. Wait until you are sure so you don't regret anything.
