I am in my late 20's and still not married nor do I have a boyfriend. I want a child and I really don't want to wait any longer.

I am thinking about 'buying' sperm, and going through artificial insemination.

How much does it cost?

What would the chances of me getting pregnant?

Statistically, the chances of conception in a woman under 35, using her own eggs is about 43% per IVF cycle. I was just discussing it with a friend the other day, in fact.

It's not cheap though. I've got a friend who told me this afternoon that it's costing them about $1200 a month to buy sperm. And that's not including, of course, the cost of medications to stimulate ovulation, and the IVF procedure itself-add that, and it's about ten thousand dollars per IVF cycle, but that will vary depending on where you have it done, and whether or not insurance covers any of it. IUI (intrauterine insemination) is a less expensive, less invasive procedure, but it may not have as much success. With IUI, sperm is inserted into the uterus through a catheter, putting it up close to the fallopian tubes and an egg. This procedure costs a few hundred to a few thousand dollars depeding on the cost of monitoring and drugs as well as the procedure itself, and that doesn't include the cost of sperm, which is separate.

for sure! in simple terms because someone is a virgin does no longer advise they don't produce eggs. nevertheless, it really is slightly harder, because it really is a lot tighter and the hymen is often entact. yet, it ought to honestly ensue. you do not even ought to have sex with a lady, and the semen can spill on her, and nevertheless swim up in there. I heard of that occurring to a lady earlier.
