No, it isn't illegal. many reptiles in the pet trade are wild caught because they are cheaper than captive bred for the most part.

No (but I think it should be).
It's illegal to import species listed as endangered by CITES, but not snakes like ball/royal pythons, boa constrictors etc. The captive-bred ones are less parasite-ridden, more likely to feed well and be handleable in captivity though. You should ask if you're buying.

it depends where you got it if it was in your backyard and was trying to eat you but you shot it with a tranquilizer dart that would be okay to sell it but if it was peacefully wandering the wilderness in africa and you shot it with a tranquilizer dart then it wouldn't be okay

if it was any other situation just figure out which of them it was closest to.

i ddont know but i wouldnt get one. its not that i dont like snakes belive me i do... but when you feed them there is a lot of refrencses ware they cant see what is what and constrict you.
