I have a 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix gtp that has so many things wrong with it under engine.

3.1liter/3100 v6? Passenger side of engine compartment, near the back, on top of the engine, is a black plastic reservoir with a black cap on it. Twist 1/4 turn ccw, and pull out the cap. It has a round dip stick on it...make sure the fluid level is above the raised line in the middle of the stick....Not to the top of the hole.

It's normally toward the back, but vehicles are different...so check your car's manual. The twist-off cap has "Power Steering Fluid" or something similar imprinted on it. You can't miss it.

the power steering pump should be on the end of engine with the belt driving all the accys. it should have a lidded top spout about three inches across and dipstick attached to the inside of the lid.

yeah the power stearing fluid should be like right next to the power stearing gear for the belts, and it should be right next to it, and you'll know it's not oil cause it'll have a smaller dipstick and it's usually like right on the side of the block not on top or underneath, shouldn't be hard to find...

there should be on the driver side toward the back the lid should say power steering. if cant fine it, take it to a shop or Auto Zone?
