it's really not about the school name. just take the required courses needed, get a good gpa, do well on mcat, get *great* recommendations.

when you're on the road to med school, you're on your own. it doesn't matter how great your professors are or how educated your pre-med advisor is, it's up to you to get the grades.

It is not the college so much that matters, as your ability to absorbe what you learn and apply in practice, like on the Medical College Admissions Test [MCAT].
