We have four skilled players and a bunch of OK guys. Should we put three skiull players on the same line, and one on D, or should we spread out over two lines.

Hockey teams should spread the wealth. If you a deep team, then you will win championships. Look at the teams that win Stanley Cups, especially the dynasties. Also, as a season goes on and you start getting hit by injuries, if your team is deep, there is a better chance they will still win the game. You can also rest some of your top players more if you have depth.

Depends on what you want. If you want one line that can consistently outperform the other team, put em' all on one line. If you want a team that can consistantly hold it's own against any team, put them on different lines. I personally would do 2 or three lines, 2 players each or one with 2 and two with one. you want to have depth too, that one line can't play the entire game.

Depends on how skilled those guys are. if they are good enough they should be able to help bring guys up. In the very least take the BEST and put them on the second line, don't put four on the top line.
