im having problems with my dekstop
i got a compaq presario desktop and i did system recovery and now my usb ports dont work none of them it still under warrenty but they want me to ship it out and thats the only pc i got for school i tried pc doctor but all it did just stayed saying searching computer for installed prog for like 2 days in a row

Yea I agree with the last guy go into device manager and uninstall the usb devices and reboot the computer. Unplug any USB devices, then go to Start > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager, expand the "Universal Serial Bus" section, right-click on each "USB Root Hub" and choose Uninstall, when you've uninstalled them all, reboot, and Windows should detect and reinstall them. If it doesn't, go to the Compaq site, look up your computer, and download the USB drivers.
