My ex and I have been divorced for 4 years. I've been single since then but she got remarried and has been married for 2 years. Well about two weeks ago our relationship turned sexual and we've been sleeping with each other since then. I have no interest in getting back together with her. I just like having sex with her. The thing is our son caught us kissing and he keeps asking questions. How do I explain to him that his parents aren't getting back together and he shouldn't tell his step dad?

oh what a pickle u've gotten urself into..
one hand ur involved with a woman who is cheating on her husband and a child has found out..
On the other hand, its your child thats found out and now u have a child that is confused because mommy and daddy are kissing so maybe they are getting back together, and he's only 5 and 5 year olds have big mouths and its only a matter of time before the 5 year old spills the beans.. and u cant really say dont tell, cause ur asking ur own son to lie to cover for ur immature idiot actions..
Wow how much more are u and ur x wife going to put this poor kid through, he's already lost daddy, and now his other daddy he's probably going to lose too, cause u couldnt keep ur thing in ur pants.. and then he's going to have issues thinking he's the reason, because when he spills the beans on urs and ur x's actions, and things explode.. he's going to think it was his fault.. if he just hadnt said anything his new daddy and mommy would still be together, which will boil over into him thinking he was the reason why u left..
OH what great parents u both are .. NOT!!!!!!!

No respect for your ex wife what-so-ever. Knowing she is
married and using her for sex. I guess that makes you
more of a man huh. You say your son caught your ex and
you kissing, good example you set as a dad. Think of
your son and if you won't respect your ex at least respect
your son and tell him that it was a final good bye kiss,
THen truly become a man and a dad and let by-gones be
by-gones. You aught to be ashamed of yourself.

IT seems that you enjoy being with her in a sexual way, and maybe you need that with someone else rather than someone that is remarried....
Cheating can be cool , but this is a serious thing , we arent talking about girlfriend or boy friend we are talking about Husband and Wife

how bad for your son to be seeing this, thinking his parents are getting back together. and how sad for your ex, as she may think she is getting back too. its all about u isn't it? obviously your ex still has feelings for u, maybe u should tell her your just in it for the sex.

It would be easier for us to answer your question regarding how to explain stuff to your child if you tell us the age. Other then that so far all you going to get is whole bunch of judging faces talking smack on here and harass you about how bad you are cheating, blah blah blah and i am sure you heared the rest.

wow, what a predicament. that is really selfish and damaging to your already wounded son. you should stop this behavior as soon as possible. explain to your son that you were just being affectionate and stop kissing her. I am really sad for your son.
