Well i have 4 dogs and 3 cats ! And personally i like them both equally because if you thin about it they both have their different times when they are needed. For example when you are realy tired and you just wanna relax iit is a great time to spend with a cat. But when you are goin to a park or just for a jog a dog can be right beside you . So i think that they are both needed at different times !

I really don't think one is better than the other. It depends on YOU! Take into consideration where you live, how often you're home, and your hobbies. For instance if you want a pet that would go hiking or camping with you, a cat would NOT be it. If you want something that will be okay for long periods without you a cat would be better. Also look into types of dogs and cats. All breeds are different with different personalities. If you do a little research, you're sure to find what's best for you!

I like all animals, really. I think dogs are sweet and energetic while cats sometimes are lazy and roam around a little bit. Sometimes, cats seem smarter, or like they know what they're doing.

Cats can require less work, because they don't go on walks, and they use litter boxes!

I have a dog, and I love him, but I am thinking about getting a cat for my almost 12 year old, and cats seem loving too.

Currently, I like dogs better, but if I do end up getting a cat for my daughter, and I really like it, my answer could end up being cats.

It all really depends on your life styles. Cats are easier to care for than dogs. Dogs have to be walked and taken out to go to bathroom and exercise you need to give more attention to dogs also. You need to give cats attention too. But cats can kinda take care of themselves better than dogs. You need to think about your life style and decide how much of your time you can or cannot invest in your pet. I would make a list of cans and can'ts and go from their.

My opinion would be a dog.
Because they are very entergetic. They can be your best friend. They are so cute when they cuddle with you. They are very good with little kids. You can go on long walks with and to exercise with.
Cats arent the best choice.
They need a lot of attention and you dont see them around the house. They will stink up the house.

And that is why i am more of a dog person

It really depends on the person, but I prefer dogs. I prefer them because they are more active than cats (I think). Also, they seem easier to train and usually aren't as independent. They seem a better chioce for my lifestyle.

If you are asking this to determine what kind of pet you wish to have, then I would say this.
A cat would be great if you want someone to be affectionate & dependent with you. Also less maitenence. A Comb, Litter Box ,Water Bowl & food is all you need.
A dog would be great if you want someone to train & be more dependent on you. Also there is a lot more maitenence with a dog.
Otherwise both are great traditional pets to have. Its up to you to determine on just what one fits you.
LOL

That depends on you. Everybody is different.

Dogs are more demanding than cats.

Dogs are playful, funny & great companions. Cats are aloof & won't walk on a leash in the park.
