When you start putting them in a crib. Baby's like what they're use to. It's about what the mother wants.

It just depends on what kind of set up you've got. My kids started out in a bassinet and moved on to a crib around 3-4 months. But I know other people that put their babies in a crib right away. Many babies don't like the feeling of lying in a huge, open area so they may not like sleeping in a crib. Others couldn't care less. I say try both and see what works for your baby!

I put mine in a crib by 4 weeks. she was too wiggly for the bassinet and kept bouncing off the sides and waking herself up.
BUT
she is only in the crib at night. She naps in her pack and play or on a blanket in the living room. Been sleeping through the night since she was 8 weeks old.

My son spent his first 3 weeks in a bassinet, then moved to the crib. Our daughter has been in the crib since the day we brought her home.

My baby started sleeping in her crib right from the beginning. It has actually worked out quite well. I plan on keeping her in there until she can climb out.

They can sleep in a crib since birth. You might want to keep it next to your bed so you can still keep an eye on your baby.

Some never do.
I've got 3 children under 5 yrs old - none have ever slept in a crib.

Start off right away if you want them in a crib. If you are using a bassinet, they will grow out of them in a couple months.

When my 6mo. old was just born,she would not sleep in her bassinet,she either would sleep with me & her daddy or in her carseat,sadly.After 3 mo. she started sleeping the bassinet at night,thank god. She did not start sleeping her her crib to about 5mo.,she was so small still she could still sleep her bassinet perfectly.

i put my son in his crib when he was about 3months old. he slept in a bassinet before that
