Sounds like you may be a private individual going through a situation that requires revealing some things you consider very personal and you do not want them uncovered or exposed at this time. Very protective of unveiling your inner self. This is played out in your dream as someone breaking into your home and violating your privacy.

My guess is you have some internal security issues. The home represents and is a symbol for safety, comfort, security. Dreaming of someone breaking into your home might represent some sort of external, perceived threat to that sense of safety and security. Maybe something or someone is making you feel unsafe or threatened, or a new situation has come up that makes you feel insecure.. Any big life changes on the horizon? Examining and addressing those might help to eliminate the dreams.

It means you are insecure. Fear is a dangerous thing. You need to close the door on fear. If getting an alarm system helps do it. Don't let fear take over your decision making and cause you to make unsound decisions. You'll end up hurting yourself. Take a self defense class, surround yourself with positive friends, get a dog...what ever it takes to make you feel safe and that you are safe. Never underestimate your intuition either, you might actually sense something is not secure about your home. Take care of it, don't let it fester and build up into an even greater fear.

More than likely that is a warning for you to protect your home and be careful when you are going into your home. Dreams are usually warnings and sometimes what you dream actually comes true so if I were you I would take precautions!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would assume it means you feel someone is intruding in your life or personal business.
