I am post-ovulatory. At 8 am my temp was 97.4 and at 10 am my temp was 97.8. Both are within my normal post-ov range, but th elast 4 days my temp has been 97.9 every day.

Which do you think I should go by?

I normally get up between 10-11 am because I don't get off work till 1 am - so no I am not being lazy.

They say to use the first temp reading after your normal wake time.By method it would be the 8am temp, since ideally you should have a minimum of 3 straight hours of sleep.Temp's do vary, mine can be 98.46 one morning and 98.33 the next,it's normal. As long as they stay above cover you are fine .hth's :)

if you are charting to try to see when you are ovulating, its very important that the temp is taken at the same time every day- you are looking for your own personal pattern and even a couple of hours difference can totally throw that off... go with whatever the usual time you take it was...
