Celebrity+Money+Fans=Political Influence. The fans buy into this garbage. They think that because an actor is good at acting; then he/she must be good in the political arena. Most need to stop and think is what the celeb saying really what I believe, or do I believe because they said it? You also have to look at what extent the media plays into this mess. If they didn't publicize the comments, the general public might think for themselves.
I might admire an actor for their work on screen, but that does not mean that I must associate with them on a political level.

I cannot believe some of the trash I hear out there. It particularily frosts me when an actress gets up to testify to a Congressional committee about a part she has played. Like reading a script makes you an expert on anything.
