In my town, 1-3 in of snow are predicted for tonight (26 degrees). Tomorrow, snow will transition from morning showers to afternoon showers, 90% chance of snow, another 1-3 inches.

I'm asking because I have a tremendous amount of studying to do. Thanks.

That depends on where you live. 2-4 inches in South Carolina is looked at differently than 2-4 inches in Iowa. If there are high winds, or a possibility for icing conditions you could get lucky....

Good Luck with the studying.

In our aria it has to do with the road conditions . If the bus can't get through safely , no school . .We had a week off because the temperature was so low & that would cause the fual to gel + the chill facter wasn't safe for the kids that walk .
In your case it all depends on your school regulations pertaining to closings . Talk to some one that drives a school bus in your aria .
Our school has a tv chanel that show a lot of activitys like games , anounsments , pictures , winners of contests , lunch menu for all week & if our school is closed for any reason , in big letters it says , NO SCHOOL & the date of the closing . That's nice , we don't have to look at the bottom of the tv screen to wait through all the other schools to get to ours . If thay can they put it on the night before depending on the weather . forcast .

It depends on how much and where you're at.

Example: In Texas it only takes an inch of snow to activate closures and delays.

well its not about the snow. its about ice. so if its cold enough to freeze the rain, then there will be a snow day.
