Seven Ancient Wonders of the world - good question. You can do a search using Yahoo or Google or even check out Wikipedia about this one.
The Pyramids of Giza (the only ancient wonder still standing)
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon
The Statue of Zeus at Olympia
The Temple of Artemis
The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
The Colossus of Rhodes
The Lighthouse of Alexandria
The Seven Modern Wonders - there is a lot of discussion about this taking place currently. It has been in the news and on the internet as well.

1.Lighthouse of Alexandria (Hellenistic Egypt; 3rd century BC)
2.Colossus of Rhodes (Hellenistic Greece; 292-280 BC)
3.Mausoleum of Maussollos at Halicarnassus (Persians, Greeks 351 BC)

7.Great Pyramid of Giza (Egyptians 2650-2500 BC) the only one currently standing, the rest were destroyed by earthquakes of fire.
There is a society that is currently voting on the new seven wonders of the world www.new7wonders.com. This list is currently being made but another list in 2006 was made.

The Lighthouse of Alexandria, The Parthenon, The Hanging Gardens of Babylonia, The Colloseus of Rome. That are all that I know. As for the modern world, everyone has a different opinion.

i only remember 3 - the giza pyramids (those 3 pyramids you always see on tv and postcards), the hanging gardens of Babylon and the Roman colloseum (i think). the rest are all from that period in history....the age of the classical empires!
Personally, i think the seven wonders should be lessend to 1....the giza deserve our upmost respect and worship.....they are thousands of years old and still in good shape, even though they are in the desert.those egyptians sure know how to build a gravestone lol!!
