Does anyone know where to look for houses that people are selling to have moved? I've tried local papers, no luck! I'm in Illinois.

Place an ad in your local newspaper. Simply say that a buyer is looking for a house that needs to be moved to another building site.
The cost of the newspaper ad should be rather inexpensive.

Eh? You mean, someone wants to build a new house, so they sell the old house to have it moved and relocated for someone else?

I doubt that happens very much. Usually people raze (destroy) the old house. Moving a house is a big deal, and if it was a lousy enough house to get rid of, no one's going to bother moving it. Typically only houses of historical interest get moved.

Look in the yellow pages in your local phone book under house movers.

Newspapers are the go. Keep looking in them as it's not something that would be advertised on a regular basis.
