Why do cons say liberals only support their own free speech when cons also only support their own free speech?

It's time they drop their holier-than-thou attitude and just acknowledge that the right-wing does it too!
Whenever liberals say something, it doesn't matter how true it is, the conservatives claim the liberal is smoking pot and is a commie/hippie and that they should shut up. That is their response for most things from what I see.
Some conservatives even result to direct, offensive profanity...
Of course it happens with both liberals and conservatives.

It is the same for liberals AND conservatives!
Didn't I prove my point?

They say that because they have no debating skills other than name calling, hyperbole and conjecture. If you can call those things debating skills.

While hypocrisy is rampid on both sides, I think the liberals are a bit worse on this one.

When people objected & protested the statements of the Dixie Chicks, instead of recognizing that as a conservative's use of their OWN freedom of speech, they act like the conservatives are denying the Dixie Chick's freedom of speech.

When a religious group protests against a movie (like Brokeback Mountain), again, the liberals claim the film makers rights are being denied, instead of acknowledging protesting is a time-honored use of free speech.

The liberals are the ones who have a harder time understanding that . . .
