If I purchase Limewire -Pro is that downloading music legally? What is Limewire-Pro?

limewire Pro is just an updated version. i've had it for a couple years and no problems. as long as you share your songs and don't make copies to sell///

Limewire Pro is not downloading music free. All Limewire pro does is give you all the results and quicker downloads. You quite alot with regular limewire, but you have a better chance at finding a song on Frostwire. Frostwire is just like limewire, except they hacked into limewire so that you get all of the results. Either way, you'll be downloading music illegally =/

Limewire Pro allows faster downloads, better searches, and has less ads. I have the Pro Version and don't notice it being any faster. I have switched to UTorrent and use Torrentspy.com to find torrents to download. Getting the Pro version of Limewire won't make downloading songs legal, but I do think it has a store that you might be able to purchase music from for Limewire download.

It depends on where you live. In Canada, there are currently no laws about downloading music (yet) However, in the states, its a different story. If it is illegal to download music without paying for it where you live, then it will still be illegal with limewire pro. All the pro does is make your downloads faster, and give you some more features that you do not get with the free version.
If you are worried about legalities, then stick to site where you pay a minimal fee and artists have agreed to sell their music there. .99$ per song is a small price to pay to stay legit.

no it is still illegal, although you have purchased limewire pro this is only paying for the software instead of the license for music which you will download, the basic version of limewire is just as illegal as limewire pro.
