im really confused i think its a white animal with black stripes, but my friend sally thinks its a black animal with white stripes. PLease HELP!!!!

If you look closely at a zebra, you will see that it has black stripes. Most of its hair is white.

On the other hand, its skin is black ...

Have a good look, White body black stripes. If they were black with white stripes, they would be black with large white patches. This question is one of the silliest questions I have ever seen. Have a look at this pic.

As you can see it has a white body with black lines or stripes. If it was the other way around you couldn't call them stripes.

You would have to say "Black body with white patches, some white stripes and some funny shaped white areas. Have a proper look at the white areas you can see that they do not actually make up any semblance of well formed stripes, where the black areas however do tend to form stripes. As you can also see, the white is continued on to the leg areas. This would tend to support the idea that it has black stripes on a white body.

look at the zebras belly, its white, if you look at the back, the stripes start from the spine and curl around its sides to its belly.
