yeah, it gives you the opportunity to be maned and killed...no it should not be a requirement for EVERY high school graduate to enlist, that's ridiculous....if anything it should be that only the students that are very misguided should have to...i don't think that's right either though.

I think that if parents did their job teaching their children right from wrong and stopped spoiling them and made them earn the things they get, then a required military service wouldn't be needed.

Added note: My sons aunt is retired military and it made it harder for her to find work.

I would not make it only for high school graduates. It should be for all 19 and 20 yo's.
It would make people think hard about sending the Army into harm's way for corporate profits.
