1.They both have to do with dreams...in the sppech MLK is talking about his dream and how he wants to acheive it
in a risin in the sun the characters of the book talk about thier dreams and they each try to achieve them
ex.beneatha wants to go to med. school
Walter wants to open a liquor store
2. both of them have to do with blacks getting more rights for blacks
in the speech mlk wants the blcks to be the smae as the wites
in the book the characters want to be equal with the whites and even move to a white neighborhood
3. both of them have to do with struggles and overcoming then
in the sppech the struggles include equal rights
in the book the struggles include equal rights, overcomeing challenges, living poor,and trying to achieve their dreams
