I think Ben Roethlisberger.
I have a feeling that if he stays healthy and trains hard in the off season he could be the come back player of the year for the 07-08 season.

Well Rivers has a good system at the moment as does Ben. Ben showed he can play when healthy and may help lead the team to be more pass oriented. If he remains the franchise QB and they become more of a pass team then before I would say that would show he has the best career. I think Eli put himself in too much of a pressure cooker and will be a bust, he was a Manning and people expect him to be his brother espically when he DEMANDED to be in New York(well him, Big Brother, and Daddy). As to Losman I don't see him having a chance to have the best career. Then you have Shaub and I think it depends where he ends up. He won't get the chance in Atlanta unless something happens to Vick. So he needs to go to another team and be a starter or his chance will be gone.

For 2004 I think they best talent possibility lies in Buffalo with Losman. He had a rough start to his career, but he should some real growth through the 06 season that gives a lot of hope for that team. If the Bills can keep Willis Mcgahee healthy and keep a solid receiving corps, Losman could quickly start to shine. The toughest challenge he faces is the division he plays in.... the AFC east may not seem great, but every team in that division has a great defense that can stop an offense on any given sunday. As for Manning, Rivers, Rothlisberger, and especially Schaub, I don't see any of them having the career numbers that will get them to the hall of fame. In fact, I feel that if Losman was a Charger, that team goes 15-1 and wins the super bowl. He's just a better qb than the others on this list.
2005.... Alex Smith is the easy answer. Another qb who made tremendous strides this past season after a horrible start to his career. They have a good rb, a solid te, now all they need is a wr who can run the middle and give him that 10 yd throw, and this offense will be putting up 25 a game. He has the tools and the knowledge to succeed.

In the 2005 season, week 5 against the Patriots, Matt Schaub goes 18 of 34 for 298 yards and 3 TD. This is a good quarterback. He should be a starter and once he is given a chance he will prove to the best of that group.
Of the 2005 qbs Alex Smith will be the best. The 49ers will be in the playoffs next season.

Losman-Has the best receivers, also a Buffalo team which gave Indy a run for its money this year. Pending McGahee and the RB position they might be playoff bound.
Rivers-I live in SD, and even here I think he's terrible. The only reason is decent is because #21 is in the backfield.
--On a side note, how did he make the Pro Bowl instead of Brady?
Best 2005 QB is probably Alex Smith, the San Francisco team was in the playoff hunt for a while after sweeping Seattle (the division champs)

Rivers because he is in the best situation. Although Rothlisberger has already got a ring, his career may go no where because of the new coach. Shaub has to prove to the Atlanta organization that he is there guy. Vick is the better athlete but is he the better quarterback? Manning needs a runningback. Losman needs to be traded

Philip Rivers. Even though he had to wait two years to play its him. It cant be J.P because he's had trouble with the Refs and he's on a bad team. It obviously can't be Schuab because he doesn't play and he is sucky. Even though Ben Rothlisberger won a superbowl cant be him. Missed most of last seaon and stunk. He was stupid enough to ride a motor cycle without a helmet. Eli Manning got confused last year, his WR's stunk, same with his TE's. Has to be Philip Rivers.

I think Phillip Rivers will. Big Ben did well his first two years in the league, but Rivers has the team that can win the Super Bowl any year. He'll have a great career, possibly HOF worthy.

Eli Manning - brutal and will not get much better
Phillip Rivers - could be great
Ben Rothlisberger - he's brutal, steelers won SB in spite of him - he might not even be their starter in a few years
J.P. Losman - too soon to tell
Matt Shaub - he and rivers are the best of the bunch. green bay should trade for schaub.
