"Sneaking around" can be exciting, yes; the "forbidden fruit" concept has been around for millenia. Also, it may be that they truly enjoy the company of the man in question; just because he's married, doesn't mean that he ceases to be attractive or charming or funny or enjoyable to be around. For some women, I'm sure, it's a way to have a relationship but avoid the committment. For others, it's "true love", and they keep hoping that he will leave his family to be with them. It all depends on the situation.

I think the mistress gets the thrill of having a man and having her freedom too. She gets to avoid her commitment issues of feeling trapped or having someone else have control over her life.
Its a fool's game - a man rarely leaves his wife for his mistress. And if he does, how does she know he won't leave her for another mistress down the road?

The thrill of sneaking around gets old real fast.
If you want a thrill try mountain climbing or some extreme sport at least you won't be ruining a marriage or having to deal with the chump if you marry him.. bleh!

Not much fun, but a lot of guilt! Because you may think of it as being in love, but you have no right to do something like that - how would you feel about another woman doing this to you? How much fun is it to be with a married man, who is obviously a scum bag. You think it is fun to roll in the hay with someone, who after they have had what they want from you, goes home to their wife. What fun is it going with someone where there is no future, and if there is a possibility of a future with this man, would you want it really? What they will do with you they will do to you! However, if you are the type of woman who feels no shame or guilt about what you are doing, then the fun will be when you get what you deserve.

i believe the thrill is in seeing if she can get him to leave his wife, so she can have the kind of life the wife has, the house, the pool, the money, because maybe the mistress has not been too successful in finding what she wants in life, so she sees a man who has been until now, loyal and faithful. think it boost the Mistresses self esteem to know she has power over te man. but than it may not go her way if he decides to stay with his wife, all of her efforts will have been in vain.

they may get a friendship with out the commitment , and depending on the married man he may help to support her , a few years back I talked to a women who was divorced who had been the other women and she told me that he had helped her out finacialy , and with other things till he had to move on . was a 3 yr relationship for her and she was willing to get involved again with someone ,her thing was that she didn't want to get married , her previous husband had been abusive , and she wasn't willing to start a nother full time relationship . and NO I did not and wasn't interrested in an affair with her .

yeah I think that most people find the sneaking around exciting and thats why they do it or they are just aholes that dont app what they have

Sometimes they get the unknowing wifes husband. At least thats what my ex-husbands tramp got.

well...if they are good in bed then that's something...but no one could be good enough to make me risk the cheating and sneaking...guess I am just too honest.....

it's not fun when your caught by his wife and she shoot's you or cut's your throat for being in bed with her husband its not fair to the wife
