I am beginning to think it was the "hot-air" from the anti-Bush fanatics on the left.

If liberals want to know the truth they can google these words: Iraq chemical weapons factory. They will learn that we have found enough WMD in Iraq to murder over a million people, yet because the liberals hatred for Bush over rules everything else in their little world they will still repeat the lie that Saddam had no WMD.
I guess the thousands of Kurds found dead in the streets after Saddam's "cropdusters" flew by died from whiplash when they all turned around too quick hoping to see Saddam, their loving dictator, waving at them from one of the "cropduster" planes he sent to help the Kurds with their gardening.
Liberals make me sick.

I think a better question is, if he had them why did he not use them when we invaded. I know he did have them at the time that he used them on the kurds we gave them to them, see Reagan/Bush administration, he was supposed to use them on Iran. But I think by the time we got around to invading him that he didn't have any.

Bush's Dad , Rumsfield , etc. gave him the weapons and gasses to kill all these people and then turn around and hang him. Haven't you seen that on TV, G.W. H Bush and Rumsfields shaking hands with Saddam as they gave him those weapons. it was on CNN several times. Saddam even stated America gave me the weapons in court, I told you they'd turn on you like a Chow or Put Bull those Republicans

Good question. I'm sure Saddam didn't kill them with kindness.

(Someday, probably thirty years from now, reports will be declassified showing that Saddam used a nighttime caravan of trucks to safely store his weapons in Syria. There used to be a website explaining this, but it has disappeared.) .... hmmm, more intrigue, eh?

Chemical Warfare (see other answers regarding those). It wasn't chemical warfare that was being touted by Bush mouthpieces it was the nonexistant threat of nuclear weapons.

The chemical weapons were supplied by a Dutch businessman.

The question should be asked to Bush-41, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Co.
They sold them and they furnished satellite recon.

He used the weapons the United States sold him under President Reagan and the first President Bush. He was our "friend" then because he was fighting against Iran so the US armed him.

That's precisely why we thought he may have still had some of the ones WE gave him,but seems as though he used them as fast as we supplied them....
