I live in Thailand and they charge a fortune to import also spares are a problem thats why would prefer using a truk I can get there, cannot find anyone that provides kits, if not will revert to plan B and build from scratch

Remove modern parts, ie engine, transmission, air conditioning, put in 4 cylinder motor with 3 speed or 4 speed transmission (not automatic). Take out the bucket seats, install bench seat. Remove 4WD system (if equipped). Use hammer and place dents all over truck. Remove power windows, power locks, remove stereo, and install AM radio (and if feeling anxious install an 8-track).

I presume you are talking about a "car kit" with the body panels.
Never seen any for 1950's style pick up truck, only Model T or Hummer.
