i was talking to a friend who is a couple of years older than me, and i was telling her about how my vagina started bleeding once. she told me i probably popped my cherry playing a sport. what does that mean?

When a girl has sex for the first time she usually bleeds. People say that is popping your cherry.....
It is normal to bleed the first time you have sex. Often, a woman's hymen breaks during her first experience with sexual intercourse, and this can cause some pain and blood. You might continue to bleed a tiny bit the next couple of times you have sex, but the bleeding should not go on much longer than that.
