I want to learn a philosophy that is focus on the true Self, the human condition where there is no right or wrong but only our own perception to what is right and what is wrong. Of course this kind of thinking is dangerous to society because it is a threat to any organized government.

Plato Republic shines light on the human condition saying that if one were to have a ring that makes one invisible, one will cheat, lie and still. Ayn Rand writes on the human psyche in her book the virtues of selfishness, which is a commentary of Atlas Shrugged Machiavelli talks about the ends justify the means and that men will morn more for the lost of their fortunes than the lost of their own fathers. I am currently reading Nietzsche and it is eye opening.

Do you know of any texts that will bring me to the truth? I know it will be hard to find, maybe even banned from the public, but please point me in the right direction. I don't want philosophy that focus on the commonwealth, just the true self

The Bible gives good advice on self, it's about the only advice you need and should be kept in mind at all times. "Be ye moderate in all things." - Christ

I would read something by Ernest Holmes. A New Design for Living is awesome but out of print. He created Sciene of Mind, and the entire philosophy is that we create our own realities with our thoughts and the Laws of Attraction. Of course it is far more complicated than that and is much harder to live it than it sounds. BUT rather than be some far removed philosopsophy that one would consider on a broad, intellectual level it is a way to live your own life and positively change your own reality. I would much prefer an approach like this, versus some of the broader and more negative things you refer to.

I feel that this philosphy is the truth, and certainly can change your everyday life and your own reality. And I have never read any view that takes more personal responsibility for self. I would question why only focus on negative...is that the reality/life you want to create? Hope you find it interesting...I can honestly say it changed my life for the better. And it definately is not banned!

You might consider starting with Aristotle's Ethics followed by his Politics. Next would be MacIntyre's After Virtue, and Whose Justice Whose Rationality; and finally G.E.M. Anscombe's Mordern Moral Philosophy.

These are all accounts where "right" or "wrong" comes from a view of the good, what is good for onself and what is good for a human being.

You can learn as many philosophies as you like, but none of them will lead you to the truth.
Philosophy, rather like science generally, can only disprove, leading ultimately to a rather sceptical or solipsistic position. If you take it seriously.
Try Schopenhauer and Chuang Tzu.
