I don't own rubber soul, but I love the song You Won't See Me. It's not got the best Beatle lyrics, but there's something about the way the chords change and it goes major minor major at the end of each verse.. " I would lose (minor) my mind (major) and that (minor) was so hard to find (major)" especially the way "hard" has like three notes in a one syllable word. I love a good McCartney tune. Good Day Sunshine, Take it Away, Listen What the Man Said, just catchy catchy tunes. Personally though, I think Revolver is a better, deeper album.

hmm.. hard to say, it's one of my favorite beatles records.. i guess it would be 'girl'. I just think it's a really original track, kind of different from the way they usually sound... and the breathing sounds after every time they say "ah giiirl" - simply hilarious. Overall, too, the song is really deep in its lyrics.. It's beautiful both lyrically AND melodically: i mean the lyrics
"was she told when she was young that pain would lead to pleasure,
did she understand it when they said:
that a man must break his back to earn his day of leisure,
will she still believe it when he's dead
[...]"
are just really beautiful, and they make you think. and ok, 'drive my car' is really catchy, a cool, funny, great song.. but can you really compare "baby you can drive my car/yes i'm gonna be a star/"... to THAT? ^
i LOVE the beatles and this is one of my all-time favorites of them. just listen to it. ull know what i mean.

Very hard to decide. Probably "Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)" because the lyrics are so cool and indicative of that time period. "Run for your life" is also a favorite due to John's vocals and the words again - you can really see his jealous side. Damn, can't decide.
