I would just try to stop talking to them, I wouldn't want to get into trouble because even if you didn't shoplift, if you are in the store with your friend you will get in trouble too

I'm fifteen and I have friends that shoplift. I tell them that it's not worth it getting caught for stealing a stupid keychain or other trivial things like that. Of course they don't listen to me, so I just tell them if they ever steal something when I'm present I'm going to kill them. (Figure of speech.)
