It depends on what type of job you are looking for and what state you are in. I started to mow lawns and do other yard work when I was 9 or 10. I think you can be 14 to work in a fast food place. It just depends on the job.

It depends on the state that you live in for instance in california it's 15 years of age with a school work permit and permission from your parents or legal guardian

Depends where your from I suppose. The company I work for employs students, usually 16 or over but some of our sites have staff that work at weekends in cafe's etc that are 15 years old.

some places accept 16+ only if u have a job permit and some places are strict and want only 18 and older

Usually 14. Some places require you to be 18 though. I think it probably differs by the state.

I got a paper route when I was 14. I have baby sat for neighbors since I was 12. My name was spread to their friends, and friend's friends, so I made a lot of money.
You can ask people I you can shovel drive ways for money or mow lawns.
