I had to turn my car in willingly because I was unable to continue to make payments. I realized that for a year and some months, I was working real hard on my job and not getting paid enough money for the work I did. I was constantly struggling. So, several times, I wrote checks off my father's account to pay half of a huge car note. I realized that I didn't have to purchase that car, and that I wanted to keep up with the joneses. My father informed on a few occassions that he could keep paying my car note because it was too high. And he told me not write any checks off his account anymore. I agreed to that, and realized for a long time, that was wrong. I have been unemployed for the past three months now,but I am seeking employment, but I haven't found a gig that is going to pay me at least 12 or 13 dollars an hour. So, how does one survive? Will this ruin my chances of buying a home one day and getting another cell phone?

You are turning down jobs because they don't pay at least $12-13 dollars an hour? Thats at least $12 per hour over NOTHING. Take whatever job you can get and then trade up when you have developed to responsibility and work skills to qualify for a better job. You will be able to repair your credit over time, but not if you keep taking an irresponsible approach to your life.

To answer you r other question I survive by working not sitting around waiting for a high paying gig to fall into my lap.

you say in some of your MANY other questions that you are a grown women etc etc but to be honest I have my doubts.........you live with your parents so they obviously supply ALL of your needs and yet you do nothing but gripe...........bet your dad was happy at footing yet more bills of yours and then you still turn the car in, makes me wonder if he was not also a cosigner on this loan as again from your other comments I can not see how you was able to obtain credit with your work history as it stands.

You have got to stop with this pity party for your self, get out and do something, even if it is voluntary work......being productive is far more important than this $12 + dollars you want per hour, at n place you actually mention any skills / qual's that you might have........so brush up on all skills and again start looking for the DREAM job once you have ANY sort of job.............If you are grown then Hun start acting it.

Regards and really get a grip, hard work never killed anyone.

This will show up on your credit report and may cause you trouble with your credit.
You need to find some type of employment, even if it's at a lower wage.
You will also survive without a cellphone.

It won't matter after 7 years or maybe less. You survive by riding a bus.
