I have a theory about who invented homework it was someone who hated kids and also had a lot of time on their hands so they decided to think about how to torture kids they thought and thought and then remembered that kids really hate school and they would hate it even more if it followed them home and decided there should be homework and that evil person went to the only school that was in their town and told the principle who also hated kids his evil idea and the principle loved it and decided to give all of his students homework and soon it spread all over the world...how evil is that

I HAVE THAT SAME QUESTION, WHOEVER INVENTED HOMEWORK WAS A TOTAL BIRDBRAIN! ALL I KNOW IS THIS: HOMEWORK IS MENTAL TORTURE. WHAT'S THE POINT OF IT IF WE DO WORK IN SCHOOL? I BET YA'LL DO YOUR HOMEWORK IN SCHOOL ON THE DAY IT'S DUE, JUST B4 THE TEACHER CHECKS IT! I BET YA'LL COPY THE ANSWERS FROM YOUR PEEPS DURING YOUR LUNCH PERIOD. HOW MUCH YA'LL WANNA BET THAT THE TEACHERS WE HAVE ACTUALLY DIDN'T DO ALL OF THEIR HOMEWORK AND YELL AT US FOR NOT DOING OURS?!

Actually I can't find an answer! Must have been a teacher requiring a "Book report" and someone took it home and referred to it as "Home work" And yes it is an intrusion--but then something has to draw us away from this!!!
